Notes from Producer:GENERAL NOTES: The late fee is waived for those who enter online by Friday, October 2! Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Purchase and schedule exhibition runs at the arena. If renting a stall, you MUST purchase shavings from the arena; minimum: 1 bag. No outside shavings. No tie outs are allowed. Except for the Thursday warm-up race, dress code is collared shirt, western hat or helmet, riding boots. A horse can be entered in up to 5 Disco Barrel Bash Open sessions but can be entered in one session only once. No horse sharing within one session. The processing fee is $10 for each session entered up to a maximum of $30. The Thursday warm-up race counts as a session. For PacWest members, the fee is $5 per session up to a maximum of $15. Riders entering just the Thursday Warm-up Race do not pay the late fee. The offer for a free Sunday run in the Disco Barrel Bash Open requires that you enter the same horse in Friday AND Saturday sessions and run that horse--for free--on Sunday. Once the draw is posted for an Open race or session, no scratches or horse changes are allowed except for documented vet-outs which will result in the refund of race entry fees. The Disco Barrel Bash Open will pay out to 5 D?s with one-half second splits. When a race is scheduled to begin after another with an approximate start time, it is the rider?s responsibility to verify when that race will start. The Thursday Pee Wee race is limited to children 10 and under who are not entered in any other race during the weekend. If a horse breaks pattern, you may finish your run but may NOT re-circle any barrel; doing so will result in a $25 fine. The rider(s) following you in your drag will appreciate it. PacWest will determine eligibility for a rerun and also determine where in the draw any granted rerun will occur. FUTURITY NOTES: To be eligible, the entered horse must be a foal of 2004 or later with no timed barrel race results prior to December 1, 2004. Once an entry form has been submitted, riders may not scratch from this race. You may sell your entry to another rider or change your entered horse with the payment of a $35 substitution fee. All persons who enter this race must also pay processing and late fees (if applicable). Futurity horses will be verified on Friday, October 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. You must present your horse for visual inspection and provide registration papers or a vet certificate (verifying age). In addition to cash payouts, the top finishers in each Division will receive awards. This race will be limited to 100 total entries. JOCKEY SLOT RACE NOTES: This race is restricted to riders who: have had no 1D winnings in the last 365 days; have no open rodeo winnings in the last 365 days; own the horse they?ll ride; and are not WPRA card holders (permits are OK). Once an entry form has been submitted, riders may not scratch from this race. You may sell your entry to another rider or change your entered horse with the payment of a $35 substitution fee. If you feel a rider has entered this race who does not meet the eligibility requirements, you may file a protest in writing and accompany the protest with a $100 payment which will be returned to you in the event that the rider in question is found to be ineligible. A protest must be received in time for PacWest to resolve it before the end of the race. This race will be limited to a total of 75 entries.
