Notes from Producer:Absolutely NO outside alcohol permitted inside ANY part of Diamond W buildings; this includes the arena, expo, and stall areas. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Purchase and schedule exhibition runs at the arena. If you are entering only the Thursday warm-up race, there is no processing or late fee. If renting a stall, you MUST purchase shavings from the arena. No outside shavings. No tie-out?s or portable stalls allowed until all stalls sold. You will be disqualified and loose all entry fees and prizes if you tie-out. No hooking up to power or RV spots without paying--you will be disqualified. Except for the Thursday warm-up race, dress code is long-sleeved shirt, western hat or helmet, riding boots. A horse can be entered in up to 5 Barrel Nation Alvarado Open sessions but can be entered in one session only once. No horse sharing within one session. Once the draw is posted for an Open race/session, no scratches or horse changes are allowed except for documented vet-outs which will result in the refund of race entry fees. PacWest will keep all stall, RV, late, and processing fees. The Thursday Warm-up Race, the Barrel Nation Alvarado Open, and the Futurity are WPRA co-approved. The Thursday Warm-up Race is BBR co-approved. The Barrel Nation Alvarado Open will pay out to 5 D's with 1/2 second splits. The Barrel Nation Alvarado Open is run in 5 sessions with one payout on Sunday. One rider may enter the same horse in as many sessions as they desire and, as a result, could have multiple results and, therefore, multiple chances to win. The Thursday Pee Wee race is limited to children 10 and under who are not entered in any other race during the weekend. This race will happen after the first 50 run in the Open. Once a horse has entered the competition arena, forward movement is required. No circling! If a horse breaks pattern, you may finish your run but may NOT re-circle any barrel; doing so will result in a $25 fine. The rider(s) following you in your drag will appreciate it. PacWest will determine eligibility for a rerun and also determine where in the draw any granted rerun will occur.
